Eclipsys' revenues grow in Q2

Additional bookings and new clients propelled healthcare informatics firm Eclipsys of Atlanta to higher revenue in the second quarter (end-June 30).

Revenues increased 3% to $134.4 million, compared with $129.8 million in the second quarter of 2009. Net income reached $1.6 million, compared with a net loss of $4.1 million in last year's second quarter.

For the six-month period, revenues increased slightly to $262.8 million, compared with $260 million in the first half of 2009. Net income totaled $7 million, compared with a net loss of $5 million in the same period a year ago.
