Speech recognition and transcription technology provider MedQuist of Mount Laurel, NJ, has signed an agreement with Child Health Corporation of America (CHCA) in Shawnee Mission, KS, for clinical documentation and computer-assisted coding technology and outsourced medical transcription and coding services.
MedQuist will implement its Web-based DocQment Enterprise Platform in-house for clinical documentation workflow at hospitals owned by CHCA.
CHCA children's hospitals represent more than 20,000 physicians, 100,000 employees, $14 billion in revenue, and $1.8 billion in overall medical, surgical, and pharmaceutical products.
