McKesson inks Va. contract

Healthcare IT firm McKesson of Atlanta has won a contract for its revenue management package with a Virginia-based independent radiology practice.

The Association of Alexandria Radiologists has outpatient imaging centers and affiliations with four hospitals in northern Virginia. It will use McKesson's package for billing and practice management. The package includes medical billing, reporting, and accounts receivable management services, McKesson said.
