ONC releases certified product list

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) has unveiled its Certified HIT Product List (CHPL).

The online catalog includes complete electronic health records (EHRs) and EHR modules, which have been tested and certified by authorized entities for the Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive programs, also known as meaningful use.

In addition, two of the ONC's authorized testing and certification bodies announced their first list of certified HIT products.
