Medical coding provider CodeRyte of Bethesda, MD, announced the availability of DataScout, a clinical data extraction and analytics software at the RSNA conference in Chicago.
DataScout uses context-sensitive technology to identify and extract clinical information from free text and structured medical records, and convert it into actionable information for critical analysis or activities such as business decision-making. Data such as demographic patterns, payor mix, quality initiatives, clinical appropriateness, and clinical trials analysis are examples of designed capabilities.
