Nuance upgrades SpeechMagic 7

Speech recognition and software developer Nuance Communications has announced the availability of SpeechMagic 7 Release 2.

The new version includes features to provide enhanced medical documentation, such as Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for assessing productivity gains and turnaround times. This allows hospital management to evaluate their return on investment and optimize reporting and information capture processes, according to the Burlington, MA-based vendor.

SpeechMagic is Nuance's healthcare software development kit (SDK) platform for building a hospitalwide electronic speech infrastructure in Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region.
