Healthcare IT vendor Medstreaming's cloud-based Medical Office EMR has received Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) certification as a complete electronic health record (EHR) for ambulatory care.
The product, which made its debut several weeks ago in Orlando at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting, was tested and certified by the Drummond Group as stage 1 compliant for 2011/2012.
Medical Office EMR is a comprehensive suite of offerings including scheduling, provider dashboard and patient evaluation programs, computerized order entry, patient reminder systems, and an integrated PACS. DICOM images and DICOM structured reporting move directly into the EMR, and scheduling data are pushed automatically from the EMR to imaging acquisition devices in a single unified worklist solution, according to the company.
