Fuji, Nuance form partnership

Fujifilm Medical Systems USA and speech recognition and software developer Nuance Communications have formed a partnership to sell Nuance's dictation systems to Fuji's radiology customer base, the two firms said.

Under the new agreement, radiology practices, imaging centers, and hospitals that already use Fuji's Synapse software will be able to purchase Nuance's PowerScribe 360 radiology speech recognition platform directly from Fuji.
