Oncology firm Elekta has incorporated an interface to superficial and orthovoltage radiotherapy systems from Xstrahl (formerly Gulmay Medical) into its Mosaiq oncology information system.
Available with Mosaiq version 2.20, the interface allows users of these therapy machines to prepare, deliver, and record treatments via Mosaiq, according to the firm. Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, CA, and St. James University Hospital in Leeds, U.K., have successfully used the interface, Elekta said.
