Medical record services provider eHealth Global Technologies (eHGT) has upgraded its eHealth Access record retrieval service to feature real-time detailed online status for all record retrieval requests, as well as the ability to integrate with a healthcare institution's internal scheduling system.
The new online request system provides full visibility to all steps of the record retrieval process, and it offers real-time status of data from every location that houses a patient's requested information.
With the new scheduling system integration feature, eHGT can integrate with virtually any internal IT system to collect patient demographics and medical record numbers. This helps eliminate duplicate data entry and ensure accurate labeling of outside records and images before transfer to a referral center's information systems and PACS.
