Data storage and security firm Symantec has introduced Symantec VIP Intelligent Authentication to protect an organization's network and applications against unauthorized access.
Symantec VIP Intelligent Authentication features security technologies, such as system fingerprinting, user behavior monitoring, and geolocation access monitoring, and includes Symantec DeepSight intelligence to deny access to potentially malicious activity.
The technology is now available and included with the Symantec VIP cloud-based user authentication service at no additional incremental cost, the firm said.
