DigiChart has received Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT) full certification as a certified ambulatory project for version 8.0 of its electronic health record (EHR) system, digiChart OB-GYN.
The EHR system is designed specifically for the ob/gyn specialty. For obstetrical care alone, it uses an interactive flow sheet that feeds the standard antepartum record. For gynecological and obstetrical care, the system is loaded with nearly 40 treatment plans covering most women's health issues and features for prescribing and managing medications via an e-prescribing module.
