Agfa HealthCare is highlighting workflow connectivity at the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) annual meeting in Las Vegas.
The firm will demonstrate integration of its imaging clinical information system (ICIS) platform with health information exchange (HIE) connectivity tools from Orion Health. ICIS makes imaging data available to physicians across the enterprise and supports the potential clinical and resource benefits of imaging that are provided by an electronic health record (EHR).
The package integrates Agfa's Xero technology viewer within Orion Health's HIE to expand the reach of imaging information beyond the confines of the hospital to health systems looking to create HIEs, according to Agfa.
