Personal health record (PHR) provider MMRGlobal announced that it has received an official business license from the Chinese government to operate a joint-venture company with Unis-Tonghe Technology of Zhengzhou.
The license enables the joint venture, Unis Tonghe MMR International Health Management Service, to develop medical information management software, medical information technology software, health records management systems, and MMRGlobal's PHR systems.
The business is licensed to offer its products and services to the government of China, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities through 2042.
A program offering some of these services is already under way in Henan Province, which has a population of more than 100 million, the company reported.
