Siemens Healthcare has enhanced its syngo Workflow RIS by incorporating Radimetrics' eXposure radiation dose management and reporting system, the company announced.
When used with syngo Workflow RIS, eXposure automatically captures the radiation dose information in a diagnostic report without additional mouse clicks or dictation, saving radiologists' time, according to Siemens. The product is available only in the U.S.
The integration will allow hospitals and imaging centers to more easily comply with emerging dose-monitoring requirements, capturing radiation dose information without adding extra workflow steps, Siemens said.
New functionality includes a cumulative dose tracking scorecard, dosimetry worksheet with advanced simulation engine, protocol management tools engine supporting multiple scanners, and dose reporting dashboard with customizable views, according to the firm.
