MMRGlobal exceeds expectations with Q3 sales

Personal health record (PHR) provider MMRGlobal said that it had third-quarter sales, deferred revenue, and signed customer purchase agreements for more than $1 million, breaking its quarterly sales records.

Sales were driven by the company's MMRPro digital medical record service for healthcare professionals, including 75 MMRPro systems that are currently being installed and are at various stages of delivery, MMRGlobal said.

The company expects sales to be strong in ensuing quarters as a result of HIPAA requirements and meaningful use rules.
