RIS/PACS vendor Avreo is showcasing interWorks version 7.3 at this week's RSNA 2012 meeting in Chicago. The latest release enhancements were developed to provide workflow improvements, according to the company.
Version 7.3 builds on the extensive interWorks platform change introduced in version 7, according to Avreo. The latest version features configurable toolbars and a new order status to increase workflow efficiency.
Avrea also announced it is partnering with VidiStar, a provider of cardiology medical imaging and reporting systems. With this partnership and licensing agreement, Avreo and its channel partner network will act as a distributor for VidiStar, and the Avreo and VidiStar products will feature integration to further incorporate cardiology into Avreo's overall medical imaging workflow, according to the company.
