Ultrasound image management firm Digisonics has received an order from Natchez Community Hospital in Mississippi.
Digisonics will provide the hospital with its cardiovascular information system (CVIS) and DigiNet Pro application. Clinicians will have secure Web-based access to the CVIS for image review and structured reporting of their echo and vascular studies from anywhere at any time, according to the company.
Integration with the facility's Philips Healthcare ultrasound systems will autopopulate the patient demographics and measurements directly into the Digisonics cardiovascular reports, reducing manual entry time, eliminating the potential for entry errors, and resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy, and report turnaround times, Digisonics noted.
