ICSA Labs, a division of Verizon, has been authorized by the U.S. Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) to certify software products for the ONC HIT Certification Program 2014 Edition.
The company is an established ONC Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB). In September 2012, it received authorization from the ONC to test software for the preliminary stage 2 meaningful use requirements.
Healthcare providers need to use 2014-edition certified EHRs or EHR modules for 90 days before they can attest to meeting stage 2 meaningful use requirements.
