Healthcare IT vendor Medstreaming has tapped Michael Thompson as chief operating officer.
In his new post, Thompson will oversee development and execution of Medstreaming's corporate growth strategy. He will also expand investor relationships and assist with daily operations, according to the firm.
Prior to joining Medstreaming, Thompson was vice president of ultrasound sales and marketing for Mindray North America, where he managed direct and distribution sales channels. He also previously served as director of business development and corporate accounts for ultrasound technology developer Zonare Medical Systems.
