Siemens debuts CareXcell population health software

Siemens Healthcare has launched CareXcell, a new addition to the company's portfolio of IT tools.

The software package helps healthcare providers address the new care and payment requirements of value-based and accountable care models, Siemens said. The software consolidates patient data from disparate electronic health records and clinical systems into a single health information exchange repository.

The company's first contract for CareXcell is with Inspira Health Network of Woodbury, NJ, according to Siemens.
