Image management firm Digisonics has won a contract with a New York state hospital for its cardiovascular information system (CVIS).
Winthrop-University Hospital in Mineola will use the system for echocardiography (adult, pediatric, and fetal), cardiac catheterization (adult and pediatric), nuclear imaging, and cardiac MRI exams and procedures. The hospital will also use Digisonics' WebView 4.0 software, which will provide its cardiologists with access to patient images and reports, according to the firm.
