DICOM Grid signs Texas HIE

Cloud-based imaging platform developer DICOM Grid has received an order from Greater Houston Healthconnect, a health information exchange (HIE) that serves 20 counties in southeast Texas.

Healthconnect is collaborating with DICOM Grid to create an image exchange network for the electronic delivery of medical images to area hospitals and physicians at the point of care, according to DICOM Grid. The service will be available to approximately 15,000 physicians and 130 hospitals in the region.
