eHealth Technologies said it has added an image-enabled results delivery feature to its eHealth Connect Image Exchange software.
The new feature embeds a secure link and PIN into the imaging result that's sent to the physician's electronic health record (EHR) or sends the results to the physician within a secure direct message. As a result, physicians can navigate directly from their EHR software to view images related to the diagnostic report from within their Web browser or from their mobile device, according to the vendor.
eHealth said the new feature has already been adopted by two health information exchanges: Rochester Regional Health Information Organization (RHIO) and HealtheConnections RHIO of Central New York.
