Healthcare IT and advanced visualization developer Merge Healthcare has been awarded a contract for its cardiology and interoperability software by Willis-Knighton Health System.
The nonprofit community healthcare organization has four hospitals in the Shreveport-Bossier City area of Louisiana, including a network of more than 600 physicians.
The software will support documentation for core measures and meaningful use requirements and enable easier access to images across all Willis-Knighton locations, Merge said.
