Advanced visualization and PACS firm Visage Imaging will present version 7.1.6 of its Visage 7 enterprise imaging software at this month's RSNA 2014 meeting in Chicago.
Visage 7.1.6, which was released in the summer, includes multitabbed integration with electronic health record software from Epic Systems, as well as improved workflow and usability in display protocols, breast imaging, and study loading, according to the vendor. Visage said it has also incorporated scalability enhancements to support tens of millions of imaging studies each year.
In other company news, the Visage Ease Pro app will soon be available for mobile diagnostic image and results access for users in Canada, Australia, and the European Union. The app will be downloadable from the Apple App Store for Canada, Australia, and certain European Union countries by the end of this year, according to the firm. Visage Ease Pro has been registered by Health Canada and Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), and it has also received the CE Mark for mobile diagnostic use of imaging modalities other than mammography, Visage said.
