Radiology informatics firm MedQ has introduced its Q/ris 3000 Patient Balance Estimator, a software package that estimates a patient's financial responsibility before radiology services are provided.
Patient Balance Estimator utilizes a national database of healthcare payment information and predicts patient financial responsibility using the organization's actual remit and payment data, according to the vendor. It's available now and can be integrated directly into radiology workflow, MedQ said.
