Radiology data-mining and analytics software developer Montage Healthcare Solutions is demonstrating the latest updates to its Montage Search and Analytics system at RSNA 2014.
The new Automated Follow-Up Recommendation Detection and Tracking feature will allow Montage users to improve the value of radiology services, according to the company. It is designed to address quality, safety, and financial outcomes associated with follow-up. The feature tracks follow-up recommendations and monitors subsequent exams to reduce the chance of a patient lost to follow-up.
The system also includes the Montage Follow-Up worklist, which ensures appropriate communication between radiologists and care providers, according to the company.
In other Montage news, the firm showcased the latest version of its personal productivity assessment tools for radiologists at the conference. The upcoming version now includes Personalized Performance and Quality Dashboards for Radiologists, which will allow radiologists to track their personal quality metrics and assess their compliance with the Physician Quality Reporting System, the firm said. Also, the dashboards monitor results reporting policy and highlight common reporting errors, such as laterality and gender mismatches.
