Hyland has released a new version of OnBase, its enterprise content management software.
OnBase 15 has more than 2,000 customer-driven enhancements, including the following:
- OnBase VNA (vendor-neutral archive), which allows organizations to capture, store, and access both DICOM and non-DICOM content, creating a single repository for all clinical, administrative, and financial content
- OnBase Anywhere, which enables healthcare organizations to exchange clinical content
- OnBase Patient Window, which uses existing medical viewers to present images, both DICOM and non-DICOM, in context with the patient record to authorized users
- OnBase Universal Scope Capture, which standardizes endoscopy processes across specialties, capturing and storing endoscopies and making them available to clinicians electronically from within the electronic medical record
- OnBase Mobile eCapture that allows healthcare organizations to register patients electronically and present clinicians with access to patient information via mobile devices
