PACS/RIS developer Paxeramed is launching CarePassport, new software for enabling patient engagement with radiology, at this week's Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting.
CarePassport functions on all mobile platforms and lets patients work with their healthcare providers to view their images securely from any mobile device, according to the company. Patients can also receive real-time notifications and support services such as appointments, repeat prescriptions, and dialogue with their physicians.
Paxeramed believes the software will benefit patients by giving them a single app to collect, store, share, and manage their health data.
