Electronic health records firm eHealth Technologies and health IT software company Orion Health have collaborated to enable the North Dakota Health Information Network (NDHIN) health information exchange to provide participating healthcare providers with access to medical images.
Under the strategic partnership agreement, the firms have incorporated eHealth's Connect Image Exchange software into Orion Health's Open Platform, according to the vendors. Providers across the state can now access, view, compare, and transfer fully diagnostic-quality images such as x-ray, CT, MRI, and ultrasound studies from the Orion Health platform, the firms said.
