Radiation oncology firm Accuray and RaySearch Laboratories have signed a long-term collaboration agreement that allows Accuray to comarket and offer the RayCare oncology information system (OIS) currently being developed by RaySearch.
Accuray will be able to offer RayCare in several designated major radiation therapy markets, the companies said. The system integrates radiation therapy algorithms available in RayStation and adds features for clinical resource optimization, workflow automation, and adaptive radiation therapy. RayCare is expected to be released in 2017.
