Philips teams with Mass. General on digital pathology study

Philips Healthcare has signed on Massachusetts General Hospital as a key testing site for a clinical analytics study involving its IntelliSite digital pathology whole-slide imaging software.

As part of an effort aimed at obtaining regulatory clearance of whole-slide imaging for primary diagnostic use, the multicenter study aims to show the reproducibility of the IntelliSite digital pathology software in disease detection, according to the vendor.
