Nuance inks contract with Christus Health

Nuance Communications has won a contract to install its clinical documentation software at Christus Health of Irving, TX.

The deal will include Nuance's back-end medical transcription software, its PowerScribe 360 radiology reporting and communication software, and its Dragon Medical cloud-based speech-recognition platform.

Christus Health consists of nearly 350 services and facilities, including more than 60 hospitals and long-term care facilities, Nuance said. It is one of the 10 largest Catholic not-for-profit health systems in the U.S.
