Speech recognition technology developer M*Modal has been awarded a three-year agreement under Vizient's Novaplus private label.
The agreement includes a combination of M*Modal Fluency Direct with computer-assisted physician documentation and Fluency for Transcription. Novaplus users can blend document creation using speech recognition and clinical documentation improvement (CDI) in a single workflow.
M*Modal will be the exclusive Novaplus supplier for the CDI, enabling medical transcription while also creating actionable structured data from transcribed documents, the firm said.
