Imaging and informatics firm Vital Images is showcasing new analytics software applications at the AHRA meeting this week in Anaheim, CA.
Version 1.4 of the company's Practice Management application (formerly known as Imaging Resource Planning) integrates financial data with data generated by electronic medical records (EMRs), RIS, PACS, and imaging equipment, according to the vendor. As a result, the software can provide imaging leaders with insights into the economics of their operations, Vital Images said.
The vendor is also highlighting Opportunity Navigator, a new module on its Vitrea Intelligence platform designed to automatically find and quantify opportunities to generate revenue and remove and avoid costs. It provides predictive financial analysis of revenue and cost-saving opportunities, cost models to assess capital and operational expenses, and prescriptive algorithms that share the most relevant and actionable information, the company said.
