Are you a digital health expert or entrepreneur? The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) may have a job for you with its Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) digital health team.
The FDA is accepting applications for an interdisciplinary engineer who will provide technical expertise in premarket and postmarket review of digital health products, develop and implement regulatory policy, coordinate and provide support to FDA workgroups, and identify opportunities and risks to modifying the CDRH's digital health approach to premarket review and postmarket surveillance. More information about the position is available here.
In addition, the FDA has established an entrepreneur-in-residence (EIR) program to support and develop the CDRH's digital health software precertification pilot program -- part of the FDA's recently announced Digital Health Innovation Action Plan. More information on the EIR program can be found here.
