Health IT firm Dicom Systems has received a patent for proprietary technology in its enterprise imaging platform for integrating radiological data.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued U.S. patent No. 10,437,877B2 covering the Dicom Systems Unifier, which merges patient studies, orders, and reports and across RIS, hospital information system (HIS), electronic medical record (EMR) system, and other radiological systems to provide hospitals, practice groups, and integrated delivery networks with a user-configurable automated engine for medical data filtering, transformation, integration, routing, and archiving.
Unifier's proprietary WebGUI content management system also enables the configuration of a set of medical data filter conditions, data transformation rules, workflow integration, routing rules, and archiving rules.
