Archive vendor InSiteOne has been busily creating partnerships for its products in both the U.S. and abroad. Today the Wallingford, CT-based company said it will integrate its InDex archive product with application service provider (ASP) medQ’s PI3MS PACS.
Under terms of the agreement, medQ and its partners will offer onsite hardware and software while InSiteOne will provide onsite and offsite storage and archive capacity. Together the products will enable the firm to offer an integrated RIS with automated workflow and voice-recognition reporting, off-site archiving, and Web distribution capabilities, according to InSiteOne.
The companies have signed a letter of intent with a San Diego-based imaging center development company, Center Development Management Services (CDMS), to provide the medQ/InSiteOne product to CDMS member hospitals and imaging centers.
The company also reported that it has completed negotiations with healthcare-portal developer Digital Share, S.A., of Paris. The strategic alliance bundles the InDex archive with Digital Share’s clinical portal.
Digital Share’s product was developed in conjunction with Mountain View, CA enterprise-portal manufacturer Viador and France Telecom. The portal application displays a patient's clinical record as well as DICOM images.
Beta testing of the InSiteOne/Digital Share product is underway in western Europe, with general release of the portal application set for the second half of the year.
