PACS and RIS developer IDX Systems has finished installation of its vnetix PACS at Geisinger Health System in Danville, PA. The facility brought its 500 affiliated physicians onto the PACS and shut off film use for its CT and MR modalities last month. Geisinger is a rural academic healthcare system that provides services to more than 2 million people via clinics in 31 counties in Pennsylvania.
