Delft Instruments is in negotiations with Medical Technology Services (MTS) to take a 40% share in the Aurora, OH-based PACS integrator. MTS specializes in systems integration, primarily for 300-bed and smaller healthcare facilities and imaging centers. In addition, MTS has marketing agreements with Delft subsidiaries Nucletron and Rogan Medical Systems.
Netherlands-based Delft values its participation in the transaction at $991,000 (1 million euros). According to Delft, its intention is to develop MTS into a medium-sized system integrator and provider of services in the U.S. market.
