PACS firm Merge Technologies has completed its acquisition of Toronto-based PACS developer eFilm Medical. The Milwaukee-based firm paid one million shares of its common stock for eFilm.
In other Merge news, the firm has released MergeReport, a new product within the vendor's PACSbuilder radiology workflow software suite. MergeReport includes navigation and viewing tools with a user interface, allowing radiologists to obtain information such as patient demographics, images, and relevant prior images and reports, according to Merge. The company said that radiologists can also use MergeReport to establish workflow preferences to support their individual work styles.
