Wipro acquires GEMS IT in India

Bangalore, India-based Wipro has approved a deal to acquire a 100% stake in GE Medical Systems Information Technologies Private Limited, a joint venture between Waukesha, WI-based GE Medical Systems and Citadel Health Limited of Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The deal is valued at $5.73 million, according to Wipro, a healthcare information technology developer.
