PACS vendor Rogan Medical Systems will be releasing a new module to its HyperOrtho product suite, HyperOrtho Wear. The component measures the wear of implants, providing orthopedic surgeons with information on when an implant needs to be replaced. The software is DICOM compliant and can be installed in PACS environments, according to the Veenendaal, Netherlands-based company.
