London-based PACS developer ComMedica, a spin-off company from the Imperial College in London, has secured an additional £2 million ($3 million U.S.) funding. The bulk of the financing comes from private investors, with £250,000 being contributed by NPI Ventures, a technology-investment firm established by Nikko Principal Investments. The funding will be used by the company to continue development of its PiRiLiS patient record library system.
