Information systems provider Cerner has reached an agreement to acquire Image Devices, a PACS developer based in Frankfurt, Germany. The Kansas City-based Cerner expects that the acquisition will be non-dilutive in 2002 and slightly accretive in 2003.
Image Devices is a privately held company with more than 80 European PACS installations in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. In addition, the company’s archive product has more than 30 installations in the U.S.
