InSiteOne inks deal with Sprint

Archiving services provider InSiteOne has signed a $3.2 million agreement with Sprint for an array of communications technologies and services. The communications company will provide InSiteOne with secure communications links, intrusion security, auditing and verification of data integrity, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance and field-deployment services, according to InSiteOne of Wallingford, CT.

InSiteOne has also contracted with Sprint for its own end-to-end bandwidth requirements, and will offer its customers the option of fully managed and guaranteed network-based virtual private network (VPN) Internet links to transmit data, according to the company. Sprint plans to co-locate InSiteOne's Web distribution servers at Sprint data centers, and will provide personnel to deploy InSiteOne's InDex archiving service in the field, InSiteOne said.
