Medical flat-panel display supplier Planar Systems is adding three options to its standard warranty for medical customers. The Beaverton, OR-based developer is offering an extended warranty that covers the cost of repairs on its Invitium workstations and Dome displays for three years. Customers will also be able to purchase an express replacement contract that ensures their equipment will be repaired or replaced within 48 hours. A rapid deployment option will provide an outsourcing alternative for product storage, staging, and assembly needs for a facility.
