MedLink International, parent company of teleradiology provider MedLink VPN, has signed a letter of intent to acquire Atascadero, CA-based mobile medical software developer Anywhere MD.
The company said it plans to combine research and development on a new application service provider (ASP) practice management offering that will integrate the MedLink EHR electronic health record software, the company's MedLink Billing application, and the MedLink VPN virtual private network service, according to the Islandia, NY-based firm.
The acquisition is subject to approval by the MedLink and the Anywhere MD boards of directors, as well as additional approvals and the satisfaction of other undisclosed terms and conditions. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
