Siemens Medical Solutions of Malvern, PA, has unveiled syngo WebSpace for real-time, remote access to CT data from a laptop or office PC.
Physicians and other medical professionals can connect to a server in seconds and work with a patient's CT scans anytime and anywhere, according to Siemens. The software also enables storage for hundreds of thin-slice data cases and large thin-slice datasets -- up to 5,000 slices -- that are immediately available for 2D, 3D, and 4D interactive reading using Siemens syngo InSpace 4D software.
The syngo WebSpace software is pending 510(k) review from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
